PUBLIC ICE SKATING RINKS ARE OPEN (DEPENDENT
ON FREEZING TEMPS) AND ARE LOCATED ON ALGONQUIN
MIDDLE SCHOOL GROUNDS. ONE RINK IS FOR FIGURE
SKATING, THE OTHER FOR HOCKEY.

Ping Pong every first Friday of the month ‘till
March at the Algonac Community Center from 5:00
to 8:00 p.m. for $1 a game. All ages welcome!
Monday - 5th
Puppy Kindergarten (8 weeks – 5 months)
last of an 8 week class from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. Cost is $54.00. Learn basic house manners,
problem solving, walking on leash, sit, stay,
come (when called) and down. Socialization and
understanding basic canine instincts.
Monday – 5th
Dog Obedience Class – Beginner (6 months
and older) held every Monday. This is the last
of an 8 week class from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
at the Algonac Community Centre. Learn to heel
on a leash, sit, down, stand, stay and come when
called, problems solving and basic first aid.

Dog Obedience Class – Pre-Novice: Beginner
Class Prerequisite held every Monday. This is
the last of an 8 week class from 9:00 p.m. –
10:00 p.m. Learn to sit, down, stay, come when
called off of leash, start to heel off of leash,
how to behave with friendly and neutral strangers
and more intricate training behaviors. After this
class you should be able to pass a C.G.C. (Canine
Good Citizen) test that is required in many communities.

Tuesday – 6th
Dog Obedience Class – Beginner Class Prerequisite
held every Tuesday. This is the last of an 8 week
class from 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the
Algonac Community Centre. You and your dog learn
some of the favorite household tricks and a few
new ones too, based on the natural ability of
your dog, such as: roll over, sit pretty, dance,
shake paw, wave, ring bell, catch, speak, pray,
weave, etc. Cost is $54.00. For registration contact

Middle School.
Tuesday – 6th
Dog Obedience – Walk In Conformation held
every Tuesday from 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
This is the last of an 8 week session in learning
to show your dog. This is a pay as you go with
