According to the Charter the Treasurer shall have
custody of all moneys of the City and shall perform
all other duties prescribed by law, the Charter
or City Council.
The Department of Public Works (DPW) staff consists
of the DPW Superintendent, Secretary, Crew Leader,
Equipment Operator, one Utility II employee and
two Utility I employees.
The City Clerk’s responsibilities include
serving as Clerk to the City Council, administering
the oath of office, and conducting all Elections.

We have on staff, four licensed operators, including
the supervisor, and our business office hours are
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However,
we are staffed many more hours of the day, seven
days a week, and 365 days per year.
The Building Department is established to ensure
a safe and sanitary environment for the community
through the enforcement of Building Codes and City
Ordinances relating to construction and land use
regulation.
